Abyssal Pool Map Guide
Complete Abyssal Pool map guide for DIVE or DIE — biomes, depths, procedural layout, and exploration strategy.
The Cursed Depths Below

The Abyssal Pool is an underwater labyrinth of drowned ruins, lost idols, and mutated monsters. While individual run layouts vary procedurally, biomes follow consistent depth tiers with predictable resource types, enemy populations, and altar locations.
Maps collected during dives upload to the Library, revealing explored branches. Systematic exploration beats random deep diving — uncover every branch in a biome before blessing it or pushing to the next depth tier.
Biome Progression
The Shallows — starting biome, Iron Ore, Planks, first Idol, Killer Algae, Rain-Touched. Mid-depth biomes — Aluminum, advanced monsters, underwater altars. Deep biomes — Gold, Rain Rot, Eldritch horrors, late Idols. Stalker Wells — vertical hazard zones requiring specific tactics.
Diving Deck upgrades gate warp access to deeper entry points. Without Tier 3–4 Deck access, reaching deep Idols costs prohibitive oxygen on transit alone.
Navigation Tips
Follow heartbeat audio for Eldritch Idols. Follow whispers for underwater altars. Use boost sparingly in unfamiliar branches. Mark mentally (or via Map review) where sarcophagi and resource clusters appear for efficient return trips.
