Survive Western and Eastern Stalker Wells in DIVE or DIE — Lithium, Aluminum, Flares, and routes to Graveyard and Crimson Basin.
Western and Eastern Wells
Stalker Wells are vertical shaft biomes patrolled by unkillable Stalkers. The Western Stalker Well opens southwest through The Shallows — most Chiefs encounter it first with two Stalkers on Normal. The Eastern Stalker Well connects through Eastern Farmlands and is harder to navigate with three Stalkers on Normal.
These zones hold unique resources: Lithium, Aluminum, and Egg Items required for structure upgrades. They also gate late-game areas — the Graveyard and Crimson Basin — so you cannot skip Wells entirely.
Light, Cover, and Flares
Stalkers are attracted to light. Disable your Lantern while traversing Wells and stick to side walls. Side wreckage structures provide cover if a Stalker aggroes — loot them for resources and Eldritch Blockades breakable with Eldritch Knife after blessing.
Craft Flares at the Workshop (2 Carbon, 1 Silicon, 1 Plastic after Blueprint) to distract a Stalker in emergencies. Deploy, then swim past with Lantern off. After blessing a Well, kill Beacon Jellyfish quickly — their beams attract Stalkers.
