Equipment Guide

All DIVE or DIE diving equipment — weapons, oxygen tanks, lights, and Eldritch gear tiers.

Essential Dive Loadout

Every dive requires four categories: cutting tool (Diving Knife or upgrade), light source (Lantern or advanced), weapon (Nailgun, Harpoon, Eldritch arms), and oxygen capacity upgrades. Backpacks increase carry weight for resource runs.

Tools persist through diver death. Consumables (healing items, temporary buffs) do not. Craft tools once, manage consumables per dive.

Equipment by Game Phase

Early Shallows: Diving Knife vs Killer Algae, basic Lantern for visibility. Mid-game: Nailgun vs Rain-Touched, reinforced oxygen tanks. Late-game: Eldritch weapons for deepest biomes, maximum oxygen for Idol runs.

Match equipment to the dive objective. Idol hunts prioritize oxygen and speed; resource farms prioritize carry weight; blessed biome runs prioritize combat gear.

Frequently Asked Questions

What weapon beats Rain-Touched enemies?
The Nailgun handles Rain-Touched at range before they close distance. Essential for mid-Shallows progression.
Do I lose equipment when a diver dies?
Tools return to inventory. Consumables and gathered loot at the death site must be recovered manually.
