Crystallized Rain Guide
Farm Crystallized Rain in DIVE or DIE — bless a biome, cut Flesh Masses with the Blood Blade, known spawn spots, and respawn notes.
Why You Need the Crystal
Crystallized Rain is a late-game crafting material used for several final building upgrades. It never appears in an unblessed biome. Community mapping through mid-August 2026 treats it as a farm you revisit, not a one-and-done pickup.
Pair this page with Blessed Items and How to Get Blessed Items before you spend a veteran diver on an altar.
Unlock Steps
- Find the Sacrificial Altar in the target biome (whispers grow louder as you approach). One altar blesses the whole biome; Stalker Wells count as one blessing for both east and west shafts.
- Sacrifice an expendable recruit — not your primary diver. Old Jack’s cutscene confirms the zone is now Blessed.
- On the next dive, Flesh Masses (Blood Tumors) appear at fixed spots. They block the crystal.
- Cut them with the Blood Blade (Occult damage). The first Flesh Mass you destroy always drops Crystallized Rain.
During a Gazing Moon, moonbeams can destroy Blessed Tumors without the Blood Blade. Useful if you reach a mass before the weapon is crafted — not a long-term farm plan.
Known Spawn Locations
Community notes list about eleven to twelve confirmed or suspected spots. Recheck every known node when you return to a Blessed biome — crystals respawn at the same places. The trigger (dives, days, or another hidden clock) is still unconfirmed.
- Inside the large skull in the Graveyard — often reported as a one-time pickup.
- Inside a floating structure in the middle of the Crimson Basin.
- Inside a side structure in the Western Stalker Well.
- Near the first prison corridor in the Western Well.
- Additional Flesh Masses across other Blessed biomes after the first altar sacrifice.
Do not assume an empty tumor site is gone forever. Revisit on later dives before you stall a Tier 4 building for lack of crystal.
