Diving Deck Guide
DIVE or DIE Diving Deck upgrades, warp points, loadout management, and depth access tiers explained.
Launch Point for Every Descent
The Diving Deck is where you equip divers and launch missions into the Abyssal Pool. Before each dive, outfit your survivor with weapons, oxygen upgrades, light sources, backpacks, and consumables crafted at the Workshop. Tools persist — if a diver dies, equipped tools return to inventory.
Tier 1 provides access to The Shallows. Each upgrade tier unlocks alternate warp locations and deeper entry points, dramatically reducing transit oxygen cost to mid and late-game objectives.
Tier Progression and Warp Points
Tier 2 unlocks an alternate Shallows entry location. Tier 3 adds a Young Warper for faster biome transitions. Tier 4 provides an Adult Warper reaching the deepest standard biomes. Plan upgrade materials before committing dive days to deep farming.
Before upgrading, identify your current failure mode: if divers reach targets late but survive routes, buy Deck access. If they arrive with time but lack gear, prioritize Workshop instead.
Loadout Best Practices
Always send divers with a cutting tool, light source, weapon, and oxygen capacity appropriate for target depth. Consumables are consumed on death — bring healing items only when expecting heavy combat. Check Blueprint requirements for the dive objective before launching.
