How to Get Blessed Items
Step-by-step guide to getting Blessed Items in DIVE or DIE — biome altars and Gazing Moon farming.
When You Need Blessed Materials
Workshop Tier 4 and Eldritch equipment require Blessed materials that never appear in standard biomes. You will encounter this gate around mid-campaign when ordinary Iron Ore and Rain Rot no longer satisfy upgrade panels.
Step 1 — Explore Before You Bless
Fully map the target biome. Collect every standard resource node location. Identify the underwater altar by listening for whispers that grow louder as you approach. The Shallows altar is inside a broken eastern building.
Step 2 — Sacrifice at the Underwater Altar
Send an expendable recruit (not your primary diver) to the altar. Select Offer Your Life. The diver dies, the biome becomes permanently Blessed, Blessed resources spawn, and you gain one Flood Countdown day.
Step 3 — Gazing Moon Alternative
For one-time Blessed needs without permanent difficulty increase, wait for Gazing Moon. Bait moonbeams onto blessable resource nodes. Slower but preserves biome difficulty and diver lives.
