Appeasing the Rainmaker
The settlement Altar is your primary method for extending the Flood Countdown without losing a diver. Sacrifice Nutrition, Morale, or survivors to fill the Worship meter. At one hundred percent, you gain one extra day. Only one offering per day is permitted.
Nutrition and Morale sacrifices each add twenty-five percent Worship. Survivor sacrifices add fifteen percent per survivor level. Make offerings before starting your daily dive so the meter progresses consistently.
Altar Tier 3 — Devotion
Upgrading the Altar to Tier 3 unlocks Devotion — an additional Worship method that provides alternative sacrifice options. Combine daily Worship with underwater altar sacrifices (one per biome) for maximum countdown extension.
Plan purchased days with specific appointments: finish Infirmary recovery, complete a Blessed harvest, or attempt an Idol dive. "More time" without a goal wastes camp resources.
